A feature documentary filmed across one wet autumn. The weather changed every hour, so the grade had to make four months look like one season.

Where it started
Two hundred hours of observational footage, shot on two cameras with no chance to relight. Some days were bright, most were grey, and the grass changed colour through the shoot.
The grade
We graded the film in three passes: a technical balance on every clip, a scene match, then a single look that keeps the grass the same tired green from the first scene to the last.
Delivered in Rec.709 for broadcast and a DCP for the festival run.
